Jenelle Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at University of Michigan and a graduate degree in Social work at University of Illinois. Jenelle has over10 years of experience providing trauma-informed care to adolescents, adults, and families.
Jenelle’s areas of specialty include trauma, attachment, anxiety and depressive symptoms, conflict resolution, anger management, stress, self-esteem, identity, coping skills, grief & loss, stress, relationships, life transitions, and women’s issues. Jenelle’s approach incorporates techniques from evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
Prior to working in this field, Jenelle was a Licensed Cosmetologist. She still enjoys hair shows and learning new techniques. Jenelle enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters as she is learning the ropes to motherhood.
